What Not to Bring

1. Snacks - I can't have any food in my tent or I might attract wildlife to visit
2. Electronic Devices - I am here to explore the great outdoors, I can tweet at home
3. Any expensive items that could get ruined if they get wet, muddy, shared with other kids

Note: Pocket knives are only allowed if you have received your "Whittle n Chip" from your den leader. Please do not provide the scouts with pocket knives that do not have safety locks, or that are more than 3 inches long. (scout store has good starter knives)

If knives are being used improperly, or the Whittle n Chip rules are not followed, knives may be confiscated by any adult on the trip and given to the Pack Master.

What is a BSA Health Form - Do I need one?

The BSA Health form is the medical form filled out by all kids and adults going to a BSA facility/camp.
  • This form is required to go camping and collected by your den leader upon arrival to camp
  • For weekend trips you only need to fill out parts A & B
  • Part C is for longer than weekend trips and requires a physicians signature/health exam
  • It is returned to you by your den leader after the campout
  • We are Pack 368, Patriots Path Council, Watchung Mountain District
  • Suggest to keep an electronic copy at home as this form is needed for all campouts and away trips
