In Cub Scouts boys learn values that help them throughout their lifetime. It gives them confidence to grow and develop into fine young men. The scouts have lots of fun going on adventures and doing activities with their den and pack. This is a great time for family time.
Scouting keeps boys active. According to Parents Council on Physical Fitness: “The video game epidemic is draining imagination and desire for physical activity right out of the American child.” In Cub Scouts there are many opportunities for the child to get outside and moving. There are sports and academic programs in place to encourage the children to be physical.
Cub Scouts is a cool club. What boy doesn't want to belong to a club? Each rank has a group of boys in the same age group. They will stay together through the ranks from Tigers to Boys Scouts. They will build self-esteem and create long lasting friendships.
