WHO: Troops, Crews, & Ships
WHAT: Weekend campout. The theme for this year’s event is “Winter Olympics.” It consists of eight separate challenges culminating with a biathlon competition. In addition, units will be judged on a gateway design and campsite inspection. All events are patrol based competitions focusing on Scout knowledge, problem-solving, teamwork, cooperation, and communications.
WHEN: Friday, February 28 - Sunday, March 1, 2020
WHERE: Camp Sam Hatcher, Newport, NC 28570
WHY: Camporees are fun filled weekends that promote camping and leadership while engaging in friendly competition with other units.
COST:
$15 per youth (Jan. 6 – Feb. 16)
$10 per adult (Jan. 6 – Feb. 16)
$20 per person (Feb. 17 -21)
Camping is free! Whether you come
out just on Saturday or stay for the
weekend, the cost is the same.
